I would leave. Honestly I do believe you could find a cheaper, friendlier, and warmer! place. I wouldn't pay a third of that for that kind of atmosphere. Good luck with what you choose. And about your friends. Stay in touch, go on trail rides, etc.. You don't have to board at the same barn to be friends. (:
