What are some good exercises for a horse that has not worked for almost 4 years?

Hello, When you do go to work with her.Have someone with you. You take lady out and have someone work with willy to take his mind off of Lady vice versus . You need to get a long line at least 25 ft to Lunge, and a stick and string. When you lunge rub the rope all over her both sides so that she knows it's not a scary or hurtful thing. Do the same thing with stick. When you get ready to Lunge her take your hand and point up HIGH in the direction you want to send her off. Take your stick and swing it count to 1 2 3 MOVE her feet. if she doesn't move at the 3 spank her with it. You will get the hang of it.You can watch lunging videos. I watch alot of Clinton Anderson so helpful. You can even go to youtube.com to look at videos.If you know of anyone have them help you until you get the hang of it.Good luck with her.
