Is it possible for Mars to become active again?

Like for volcanoes to start forming and erupting again, the ice caps melt, the core become liquid again and if it is possible what would have to happen for it to become active again? Could a couple of Uranium or Plutonium bombs or ICMBS etc get it going again?
